Love this.

Saw this in Swoozie's yesterday and can't stop thinking about it. Where could it go? Bathroom? Kitchen? Small wall near the stairs. Hmmmm.

Hydrangea love.

I love hydrangeas. I used them in our wedding and thought they were perfect.

When we looked at our house, I will admit that I was so excited to see 4 different hydrangea bushes around the yard. I would still love to plant more, along with more peony bushes, and daffodils.

We didn't cut them back last year like you are supposed to, so they are probably a bit overgrown in "proper" hydrangea standards, but does it really matter when you look out and see their beautiful blooms?

These particular bushes have changed colors since we've lived here. I really remembering them being a greenish shade, then they moved to white, and now part of the bush is blue. It's really amazing and the color is supposedly based on the soil acidity.

I wish they would bloom all year round, but I guess I wouldn't appreciate them as much if they did.

I've hit a new point of boring with this post ...

So, I don't blog for a week and now I'm blogging about floors.

Does anyone have the Shark?

For a while now, I've noticed that our hardwood floors never really look clean. Even after they are cleaned by someone other than me who probably really knows what they are doing. I've tried different cleaning products - Murphy's Oil, vinegar & water, plain water, etc and it's always the same result.

This thing just looks like a miracle and I'm wondering if it's as good as it looks. Between two dogs, two adults, and two toddlers, it's an understatement to say that are floors always need a good cleaning.

Has anyone tried it? Do you love it?

Maybe I'll just choose by my favorite paint color name, Cake Stand Blue. (top row, left)
