Oh the topic is heavy and serious today .... I have been unhappy with my current lipstick/lip gloss choices.
I used to wear Clinique's Black Honey. It always seemed to be a good standby.
I love Stila's LipGlaze in Berry, but wanted to try something new.
I flirted with Benefit, Bobbi Brown, Chanel, MAC, Target brands and others. Help. What's a girl to do?
I'm brunette, fair skinned, with hazel eyes. Anyone out there with a perfect shade for me?

Bobbi Brown Raspberry Shimmer (which is not TOO shimmery) has become m go to day lipstick. Black Honey was my fave for many many years (still like it but got bored:)
Kate's right - the Bobbi Brown shimmer line is fantastic. I've used raspberry shimmer, berry shimmer and a few others. I've been wearing MAC Viva Glam V lately. I have the gloss and the lipstick and really like them both. As an added bonus, the proceeds go to AIDS research. I too have fair skin. Let us know what you find!
I really like MAC Twig...goes great with fair skin and olive skin. Top with a little gloss and you can't beat it.
i am no help with the lipstick - i don't wear any! But I do like Clinique's almost lipstick - black honey - that is an oldie but a goodie!
I have similar coloring and am loving Lancome Violet Fashion, Not Victim.
I adore MAC's Brick-o-la. It's a very basic warm reddish-brown that can be dressed up with lipgloss (I love it with Philosophy's Cinnamon Buns, which gives it a golden shimmer), or looks fabulous and natural with just MAC's famous Spice liner.

Like you, I have been looking for a new lipstick. But my favorite glosses are rose sugar abd beige by bobbi brown.
I have the same coloring as you and I adore Clinque's Juicy Apple. It is great alone or layered and goes with any outfit. I will warn you that it is not long lasting so don't expect it to make it through a work day without reapplying. I don't mind b/c I love the color. Good luck!
